The 1986–87 LA Clippers were led offensively by Mike Woodson and Reggie Williams, who carried much of the scoring load from the wing, while Benoit Benjamin provided an interior presence with strong rebounding, efficient scoring, and shot-blocking. Norm Nixon orchestrated the offense as the primary playmaker, giving the Clippers a balanced inside-out attack. Despite capable individual production, the team struggled to translate its talent into consistent two-way performance.
