The 1989–90 LA Clippers were led by Danny Manning, whose scoring, rebounding, and all-around play made him the focal point of the offense. Ron Harper provided a dynamic secondary scoring threat while contributing as a playmaker and defender, and Benoit Benjamin anchored the interior with strong rebounding and shot-blocking. The Clippers combined athletic perimeter play with solid interior production but lacked the overall balance and efficiency needed for sustained success.
