The 1980–81 LA Clippers were led by World B. Free, whose prolific scoring made him the clear focal point of the offense while also contributing as a playmaker. Swen Nater dominated the glass and provided efficient interior scoring, giving the team a strong presence in the paint. Randy Smith added secondary scoring and ball-handling, but the Clippers relied heavily on individual offensive production rather than balanced contributions across the roster.
