The 1967–68 New Jersey Americans featured a balanced offensive attack led by Doug Moe’s scoring and playmaking, with Levern Tart providing another reliable scoring option and Bob Verga contributing perimeter production. The team received strong interior support from Willie Davis and other frontcourt contributors, reflected in its rebounding strength. High scoring and a fast-paced style defined the offense, though inconsistent shooting efficiency and defensive limitations affected overall performance.

Note: During the 1967–68 season, the franchise was called the New Jersey Americans and was part of the inaugural season of the ABA (American Basketball Association). They played home games at the Teaneck Armory.
