The 1989–90 Boston Celtics were built around Larry Bird’s all-around offensive impact, with the veteran forward leading the team in scoring, rebounding, and playmaking. Kevin McHale provided efficient interior scoring, Robert Parish anchored the frontcourt, and Dennis Johnson supplied steady backcourt leadership. The Celtics combined strong offensive balance, efficient scoring, and reliable rebounding, while maintaining a team-oriented style centered on multiple veteran contributors.
