The Houston Rockets 1972–73 season featured one of the NBA’s fastest-paced and highest-scoring offenses, led by Rudy Tomjanovich as the team’s primary scorer and rebounder. Jack Marin and Jimmy Walker provided additional offensive firepower, with Walker also directing the attack as the lead playmaker. Despite generating points at an elite rate through a balanced offensive approach, Houston struggled defensively, preventing its explosive offense from translating into a winning record.
