The Charlotte Bobcats 2005–06 season was led by Gerald Wallace, who emerged as the team’s top all-around performer with strong scoring, rebounding, and disruptive defensive play, while Brevin Knight orchestrated the offense as one of the league’s better pass-first point guards. Primož Brezec provided a dependable interior scoring presence, and rookie Raymond Felton added valuable backcourt depth. Charlotte played at an up-tempo pace but struggled to convert that into efficient offense, with defense proving the more competitive side of its game.
