The 1966–67 New York Knicks centered their offense around Willis Reed, whose scoring and rebounding established him as the team’s dominant frontcourt presence. Dick Barnett provided dependable perimeter scoring, while Walt Frazier began emerging as the club’s primary playmaker and defensive catalyst in the backcourt. The Knicks displayed balanced offensive production and solid rebounding, but inconsistent defense and overall efficiency limited their success over the course of the season.
