The Houston Rockets 1974–75 season was built around Rudy Tomjanovich, whose scoring and rebounding made him the team’s offensive leader, while Mike Newlin provided dependable backcourt scoring and served as the primary playmaker. Kevin Kunnert added a steady interior presence with rebounding and efficient frontcourt production. Houston combined balanced offensive contributions with efficient team scoring, using its well-rounded attack to earn a playoff berth and advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
