The 2015–16 Brooklyn Nets finished the season with a 21–61 record, securing the 26th seed in the Eastern Conference. This marked a rebuilding year for the team, as they struggled with consistency and injuries. Brook Lopez continued to be the focal point of the offense, and Thaddeus Young contributed both on the offensive and defensive ends. However, the team struggled to find success, leading to significant changes in the roster and coaching staff in subsequent seasons.
