The 2012–13 Brooklyn Nets finished the season with a 49–33 record, clinching the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. The team was led by Deron Williams, Brook Lopez, and Joe Johnson. Brook Lopez continued his dominant play as the centerpiece of the offense, while Gerald Wallace provided defense and leadership. The addition of Andrei Kirilenko bolstered their defense, and Mirza Teletović emerged as a scoring threat off the bench.
