The 2011–12 Brooklyn Nets finished the season with a 22–44 record, missing the playoffs. However, the team had a solid core with Deron Williams, Brook Lopez, and Gerald Wallace leading the way. Kris Humphries had a career year with significant rebounding numbers, and MarShon Brooks showed promise as a scoring option.
