The 76ers concluded the regular season with a 54–28 record, securing 3rd place in the Eastern Conference. They led the NBA in both free throw percentage (83.5%) and three-point field goal percentage (38.7%). In the playoffs, they swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round but were eliminated in the Eastern Conference Semifinals by the Boston Celtics in a 4–3 series.
