The 1992–93 Houston Rockets centered their attack around Hakeem Olajuwon, who led the team as both its primary scorer and defensive anchor while also contributing as a playmaker from the post. Otis Thorpe provided strong interior support with efficient scoring and rebounding, and Kenny Smith directed the offense from the perimeter. Houston paired efficient offense with solid rebounding and above-average defense, producing a well-balanced team built on its frontcourt strength.
