The Atlanta Hawks 1972–73 were powered by Lou Hudson and Pete Maravich, who carried the scoring load while Maravich also served as the team’s primary playmaker. Jim Washington and Tom Van Arsdale supplied valuable rebounding and secondary scoring, giving the lineup greater balance.
