The St. Louis Hawks 1963–64 were led by Bob Pettit, whose scoring and rebounding made him the focal point on both ends of the floor. Cliff Hagan provided dependable secondary scoring, while Lenny Wilkens controlled the offense as the primary playmaker and added balanced production. Zelmo Beaty strengthened the frontcourt with rebounding and interior scoring, giving the team a physical inside presence supported by multiple reliable contributors rather than a one-dimensional attack.
