The Sacramento Kings 2013–14 centered their offense around DeMarcus Cousins, who led the team with dominant scoring, rebounding, and interior play while also serving as a key facilitator. Rudy Gay provided dependable secondary scoring after arriving during the season, and Isaiah Thomas supplied scoring and primary playmaking from the backcourt. Sacramento’s strengths were inside scoring and rebounding, but inconsistent defense and perimeter shooting limited its overall effectiveness.
