The 2019–20 Brooklyn Nets finished the regular season with a 35–37 record, securing the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. Despite a season impacted by injuries and the COVID-19 pandemic, the Nets managed to secure a playoff spot. Caris LeVert emerged as a key contributor, while Spencer Dinwiddie continued to shine. The team was bolstered by solid performances from Jarrett Allen, Joe Harris, and DeAndre Jordan, with Kenny Atkinson serving as the head coach during the season. After the season was interrupted, the Nets hired Jacque Vaughn as their interim coach for the bubble games.
