The Houston Rockets 1975–76 season was led by Rudy Tomjanovich, whose scoring and rebounding made him the team’s cornerstone, while Calvin Murphy provided consistent perimeter scoring and directed much of the offense. Kevin Kunnert added a dependable interior presence with rebounding and efficient scoring around the basket. Houston relied on balanced offensive production and strong frontcourt play, but inconsistent defense and limited overall depth prevented the team from sustaining playoff-calibre success.
