The San Antonio Stars relied on a young core during the 2017 season, with Kayla McBride leading the scoring from the perimeter and Dearica Hamby providing efficient interior scoring and rebounding. Moriah Jefferson directed the offense when available, while Isabelle Harrison added frontcourt production on both ends. The Stars showed balanced offensive contributions and solid rebounding, but inconsistent defense and overall efficiency contributed to another difficult season.
