The Portland Trail Blazers 2016–17 relied on Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum to drive the offense, with both guards providing high-level scoring, shot creation, and perimeter shooting. Jusuf Nurkić strengthened the frontcourt after arriving midseason, supplying rebounding, interior scoring, and rim protection. The statistics reflect an offense built around its backcourt, while improved interior play and rebounding helped offset otherwise inconsistent defensive performance.
