The Phoenix Suns 2011–12 were led by Marcin Gortat’s efficient interior scoring and rebounding, while Steve Nash remained the team’s primary playmaker, orchestrating the offence with elite passing and efficient shooting. Jared Dudley and Shannon Brown supplied complementary perimeter scoring, and Channing Frye stretched the floor from the frontcourt. Phoenix’s strengths were ball movement, offensive efficiency and three-point shooting, but inconsistent defence and rebounding limited the team’s overall success.
