The 1986–87 New York Knicks were anchored by Patrick Ewing, whose scoring, rebounding, and shot-blocking made him the team’s focal point on both ends of the floor. Gerald Wilkins emerged as a dependable secondary scorer, while Rory Sparrow handled much of the playmaking duties and Bill Cartwright provided additional interior production.
