High School Career: Howard began his high school career at Perry High School in Gilbert, Arizona, where he was an all-state honoree both seasons. He led the state in scoring in 2014-15 with 32.4 points per game. He then transferred to Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nevada, for his junior year, leading the team in scoring with 18.6 points per game.

College Career: At Marquette University, Howard became the school’s all-time leading scorer and was nationally regarded as one of the top players. He had a chance to become the top scorer in BIG EAST history.

Professional Career: After going undrafted in the 2020 NBA Draft, Howard signed with the Denver Nuggets, where he played for two seasons. He later signed with Saski Baskonia in Spain for the 2022–2023 season.

International Play: Howard has represented USA Basketball, earning gold medals at the 2015 FIBA Americas U16 Championship and the 2016 FIBA U17 World Championship.
