Defenders are forced to pick him up well beyond the three-point line, and once they do, he’s quick to snake a pick-and-roll into the middle, stop on a dime for a pull-up or split two defenders if they overcommit to taking the jumper away. What stands out isn’t just the range—it’s how naturally he blends his shooting threat into everything else. His handle is compact, he changes pace well and understands exactly when a big man has retreated one step too far in drop coverage. That’s usually enough. The trade-off is obvious. His size means finishing through length can become an uphill battle, and longer, physical defenders who can stay attached without fouling reduce the space he needs to get clean looks. When he starts hunting difficult shots instead of manipulating the defense into easier ones, the offense can become overly dependent on his shot-making.
