The 1981–82 Los Angeles Lakers featured a fast, balanced offense orchestrated by Magic Johnson’s elite playmaking, with Jamaal Wilkes leading the scoring and Norm Nixon providing another high-level creator in the backcourt. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar remained an efficient interior presence, while Johnson also anchored the team’s rebounding. Excellent shooting efficiency, unselfish ball movement, and balanced scoring defined one of the league’s most productive offensive teams.
