The 1973–74 Indiana Pacers were built around the all-around brilliance of George McGinnis, who led the team as its primary scorer, rebounder, and playmaker. Billy Keller and Roger Brown provided reliable perimeter scoring, while Freddie Lewis added secondary playmaking and offensive balance. Indiana’s statistics reflected an efficient, high-powered offence with strong ball movement and rebounding, supported by an active defence that helped make the team one of the ABA’s most well-rounded contenders.
