Bronny James hasn’t had a great rookie season so far. Lebron should tell his son to play to his strengths. Instead of looking for outside jumpers, Bronny should be driving to the basket whenever possible. Bronny is a good to very good driver of the basketball. However, he’s not good at outside shooting yet. 1/25/2025

ARCHIVES

Bronny James didn’t have a successful preseason. Magic Johnson suggested that he needs to play in the G-League this season. Most people will think that Bronny only has a job in the NBA this year because of his father. But I still believe in him and I think there is a place on the Lakers roster for him this season. Moreover, I think Lebron can help him grow quickly and I don’t think Lebron would want him playing for the Lakers if he didn’t think he was ready. Lebron knows what Bronny can do more than anyone because they share a basketball court at home together. It might take a little while for Bronny to figure it out under the bright lights and when the cameras are on. 10/19/2024

I watched Bronny James play at USC and thought he would be drafted in the first round due to his athletic ability and chance to play three positions. I thought he could potentially play as a small forward in the modern NBA due to it being less physical. 8/8/2024

Fun Facts

  • He was named LeBron James Jr. by his parents (Lebron and Savannah James), but he chose to be known as Bronny James instead during his professional career. Some suggest this was to help separate himself from his father’s identity even though they happily play together on the Lakers.
