In his sophomore season (2012–13), Caldwell-Pope led the Bulldogs in scoring and rebounding, averaging 18.5 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Following this standout season, he declared for the 2013 NBA Draft and was selected 8th overall by the Detroit Pistons.
