The 1987–88 Utah Jazz were powered by Karl Malone’s scoring, rebounding, and interior efficiency, while John Stockton emerged as the league’s premier playmaker, directing an offense built on ball movement and shot creation. Mark Eaton anchored the defense with elite rim protection, and Thurl Bailey added reliable secondary scoring.
