The 2021–22 Brooklyn Nets finished the regular season with a 44–38 record, securing the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. The team faced significant challenges, including injuries to James Harden and Kyrie Irving. However, the trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden (who was traded mid-season) continued to perform at a high level. LaMarcus Aldridge and Seth Curry provided valuable contributions, while Nic Claxton continued to impress with his defensive abilities. Despite the adversity, the Nets remained competitive and entered the playoffs as a potential contender.
