The 1984–85 Utah Jazz were built around Adrian Dantley’s elite scoring and remarkable efficiency, with Darrell Griffith supplying complementary perimeter offense and Rickey Green directing the attack as the primary playmaker. Mark Eaton transformed the defense through dominant shot-blocking and rebounding, establishing a strong interior presence. The Jazz combined efficient scoring, solid ball movement, and outstanding rim protection, relying on a balanced core that excelled on both ends of the floor.
