His stride eats up space quickly, and once he gets a shoulder past his defender he has the length to finish over rotating help or force the low man to step across, creating simple kick-out opportunities without needing flashy passes. What stands out is how naturally he moves without the ball. He relocates along the perimeter after giving it up, cuts behind defenders who lose vision for a second, and has a good feel for slipping into open space when the paint gets crowded. His jumper has clean mechanics and comes out confidently, but the consistency tends to fluctuate, which encourages defenders to test him by going under screens or helping off him more than they’d like against a proven shooter. That’s where the trade-off begins. When the shot isn’t falling, he can drift toward difficult drives into traffic instead of resetting the offense or attacking a better angle. Defensively, his length gives him real disruption value. He closes passing lanes, recovers well after helping from the nail, and can bother jump shooters even when he’s a step late because his reach buys him extra margin.
