The 1987–88 Los Angeles Lakers paired Magic Johnson’s elite playmaking and scoring with James Worthy’s efficient offensive production to power a balanced attack, while Byron Scott added reliable perimeter scoring. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Mychal Thompson provided an experienced interior presence, and A.C. Green anchored the team on the boards. Efficient shooting, excellent ball movement, and strong rebounding defined one of the league’s most effective all-around offenses.
