The 1961–62 Los Angeles Lakers featured one of the league’s most explosive offenses, led by Elgin Baylor’s prolific scoring and all-around production alongside Jerry West’s elite scoring and playmaking. Rudy LaRusso provided dependable frontcourt support with strong rebounding and secondary scoring, while Frank Selvy added additional offensive depth. The Lakers relied on their star backcourt and wing combination to fuel a high-powered attack, complemented by solid rebounding and balanced contributions across the roster.
