The 1982–83 Seattle SuperSonics were led by Jack Sikma, whose scoring, rebounding, and passing made him the centerpiece of the frontcourt, while Gus Williams supplied explosive scoring and primary playmaking from the backcourt. Fred Brown added valuable perimeter offense, and Lonnie Shelton strengthened the interior with rebounding and physical defense.
