The 1988–89 Portland Trail Blazers were led by Clyde Drexler, whose scoring, rebounding, playmaking, and defensive contributions made him the focal point of a balanced lineup. Terry Porter directed the offense while adding efficient scoring, and Kevin Duckworth, Jerome Kersey, and Buck Williams gave the team a strong interior presence. The Trail Blazers combined balanced scoring, solid rebounding, effective ball movement, and aggressive defense, with production distributed across a deep and versatile rotation.
