Moses Malone is one of my favorite big men of all time. He was powerful enough to bang with anybody in the key, yet had the ball-handling skills to bring the ball up the court and drive to the basket. Malone wasn’t above average height for his position, but he used that to his advantage with his ball handling. Moreover, Malone’s lack of height didn’t negatively impact his game, as he was still an excellent rebounder, defender, and all-around paint protector.

Notes:

  • Moses Malone is best known for his time with the Houston Rockets and Philadelphia 76ers, the two teams he played for during his prime NBA years.
  • Moses Malone is one of the best players in Houston Rockets’ history.
