Kevin Garnett began his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Coming straight out of high school, nobody knew exactly how good Garnett would be, which is why he dropped to fifth overall in the draft. But it wasn’t long before Garnett was a clear star. He was great for the Timberwolves who ultimately traded him when they were better off rebuilding. It worked out well for Garnett who found himself playing for the Celtics, a team he would go on to win a championship with after managing to defeat the one team that he never could as a Timberwolve, the Los Angeles Lakers. 8/4/2024
