The Austin Spurs’ 2025-26 season extended the franchise’s resurgence, as Austin finished 23-13 in the regular season and ranked among the NBA G League’s best defensive teams. The Spurs allowed a league-low 108.9 points per game and posted the top defensive rating in the league, winning with discipline and consistency rather than overwhelming offensive production.
A balanced roster drove that success. Harrison Ingram remained a central figure after his strong previous campaign, while Jamaree Bouyea, David Jones-Garcia, Riley Minix, and Micah Potter were among the club’s most productive contributors. Austin carried its momentum into the postseason but saw its run end in the opening round with a loss to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Although the year did not culminate in a championship, the 2025-26 season reinforced Austin’s identity as a defense-first contender and continued the organization’s recent return to prominence within the G League.
