The Austin Spurs’ 2024-25 season was their strongest in several years, as the club finished 22-12 and claimed first place in the Western Conference during the regular season. Built around a defense that ranked among the best in the NBA G League, Austin paired efficient scoring with consistent stops, finishing the year with the league’s top defensive rating and best net rating.
The roster blended San Antonio prospects with productive G League veterans. Malachi Flynn emerged as the team’s offensive leader and earned All-NBA G League First Team honors, while Harrison Ingram, David Duke Jr., Jamaree Bouyea, and Riley Minix were among the key contributors to one of the league’s deepest rotations. Isaiah Miller also received recognition for his defensive impact, earning All-Defensive First Team honors. More than relying on a single standout performer, the 2024-25 Austin Spurs distinguished themselves through balance, defense, and depth, producing one of the most efficient seasons in franchise history.

San Antonio Express-News — Riley Minix shooting coverage | None |
| Isaiah Miller | Pressure-Rim Lead Guard (1.1) | 33.9 | High | 17.1 | 6.5 | 2.2 | 2.8 | 75.50 | A downhill guard who generated offense through speed, transition pressure and aggressive point-of-attack defense. Reporting around his 2025 NBA opportunity emphasized his ability to get downhill in transition, while his G League season ended early after an ACL injury. Sports Illustrated — Isaiah Miller profile | NBA G League Up Next Game (2025); NBA G League All-Defensive Team (2025) |
| David Duke Jr. | Primary Wing Creator (1.1) | 34.0 | High | 16.9 | 4.7 | 4.5 | 2.1 | 74.45 | Versatile creator operating as both a scorer and secondary point guard, with enough size to contribute on the glass. Local San Antonio reporting had already identified Duke as a leading offensive option for Austin, and his 2025 season again showed a broad creation portfolio rather than a purely scoring role. mySA — Austin Spurs coverage | None |
| Jamaree Bouyea | Lead Shot Creator (1.1) | 33.9 | High | 17.3 | 4.0 | 3.5 | 3.2 | 73.92 | Attack-minded guard who combined downhill scoring with playmaking and disruptive perimeter defense. His 2025 call-up reflected that G League role: Milwaukee’s reporting noted repeated 20-point games and his ability to produce assists without surrendering his aggressive scoring mentality. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel via Yahoo Sports — Jamaree Bouyea coverage | None |
| Harrison Ingram | Starting Two-Way Wing (1.05) | 33.8 | Medium | 11.2 | 7.8 | 3.7 | 1.7 | 56.36 | Connector forward whose impact came from rebounding, passing and defensive versatility rather than constant shot creation. San Antonio Express-News described him as a productive combo forward, and his 17-point, 13-rebound, 10-assist performance during Austin’s playoff push illustrated how his all-around role could expand beyond scoring. San Antonio Express-News — Harrison Ingram playoff coverage | None |
| Sidy Cissoko | Two-Way Slashing Forward (1.05) | 29.3 | Medium | 13.0 | 5.0 | 4.0 | 1.6 | 54.52 | Physical slashing forward who supplied connective playmaking and defensive activity while handling a broad offensive workload. His move to Portland on a two-way deal was consistent with the value attached to his G League versatility, where he had already produced points, assists, rebounds and steals from a forward role. NBA G League — Sidy Cissoko two-way coverage | None |
| Quinton Rose | Secondary Offensive Creator (1.0) | 23.0 | Medium | 8.3 | 4.0 | 2.0 | 1.8 | 35.42 | Bench creator who could attack gaps and provide secondary ball-handling without requiring a full-time lead role. His limited sample makes the evaluation less certain, but the statistical profile points to a scoring-and-creation reserve rather than a spot-up-only wing. Limited independent season-specific coverage was available. | None |
| Nathan Mensah | Rim-Protecting Centerpiece (1.0) | 21.1 | Low | 5.4 | 6.9 | 0.3 | 2.9 | 31.00 | Interior specialist whose clearest value came from rim protection, rebounding and finishing around the basket. His role was especially defense-oriented, with the 6-foot-9 center functioning as a back-line presence rather than a featured offensive option. Limited independent season-specific coverage was available. | None |
| Jameer Nelson Jr. | Instant-Offense Reserve (1.0) | 14.1 | Low | 8.3 | 2.3 | 1.5 | 1.5 | 27.20 | Bench guard used to change the scoring tempo, particularly when Austin needed another creator. His 22-point outing during the regular-season playoff-clinching win and his later 20-point playoff performance illustrate the value of his reserve scoring bursts. TCU Horned Frogs On SI — Jameer Nelson Jr. professional coverage | None |
| Osayi Osifo | Energy Frontcourt Reserve (1.0) | 13.3 | Low | 2.0 | 4.0 | 0.6 | 1.6 | 16.40 | High-energy interior reserve whose usefulness centered on rebounding, physical defense and second-chance possessions rather than designed offense. His path through Austin’s local tryout system also reflected a developmental role built around effort and frontcourt depth. Sports Illustrated — Osayi Osifo training-camp coverage | None |
| Luke Avdalovic | Movement Shooting Specialist (1.0) | 14.2 | Low | 4.4 | 1.6 | 0.4 | 0.5 | 13.80 | Perimeter reserve primarily valued for spacing and catch-and-shoot opportunities, with limited creation responsibilities. The low-usage profile fits a specialist role, while his long Austin tenure showed the coaching staff’s willingness to retain a developmental shooting option. Limited independent season-specific coverage was available. | None |
| Parker Van Dyke | Veteran Floor-Spacer (1.0) | 10.1 | Low | 2.6 | 0.4 | 1.0 | 0.3 | 8.60 | Experienced perimeter reserve whose main offensive function was to provide shooting and simple ball movement in short stretches. His route into Austin through a local tryout and extensive overseas experience gave him a veteran-development profile rather than a featured rotation role. Deseret News — Parker Van Dyke basketball profile | None |
| Ibrahima Diallo | Developmental Rim Protector (1.0) | 3.0 | Low | 0.7 | 0.8 | 0.2 | 0.5 | 4.40 | Young interior prospect used almost entirely in brief defensive stints, with rim protection the clearest pathway to minutes. Sports Illustrated — Malaki Branham assignment coverage | None |

San Antonio Express-News — Harrison Ingram development coverage | None |
| Kyle Mangas | Perimeter Scoring Specialist (1.05) | 32.1 | High (1.2) | 17.1 | 4.4 | 3.3 | 1.3 | 65.77 | Shot-making guard who supplied spacing while still handling enough creation to keep defenses from simply running him off the line. His move from Indiana to Austin during the season reflected the league’s interest in his scoring package, after he had already established himself as a productive G League scorer and 2024 Up Next selection. Indiana Mad Ants — Kyle Mangas trade coverage | None |

NBA G League — Sidy Cissoko two-way coverage | None |
| Riley Minix | Stretch Forward Scoring Option (1.05) | 24.0 | Medium (1.1) | 12.7 | 4.7 | 1.3 | 1.3 | 46.20 | Floor-spacing forward whose shooting gave Austin a useful interior-outside complement. His season was severely shortened by a shoulder injury, but reporting around his development highlighted his ability to score at multiple levels and make decisions as a passer rather than functioning solely as a catch-and-shoot forward. San Antonio Express-News — Riley Minix shooting profile | None |
| Jameer Nelson Jr. | Instant-Offense Reserve (1.0) | 19.0 | Medium (1.1) | 11.3 | 2.7 | 2.3 | 1.5 | 39.16 | Bench guard who gave Austin a change-of-pace scoring option and could take over stretches when the starters needed relief. His 22-point performance in the playoff-clinching win and 20-point playoff outing illustrated the value of that reserve scoring role. TCU Horned Frogs On SI — Jameer Nelson Jr. professional profile | None |

His Liberty background was built around unusually broad production across points, rebounds and assists, and Austin used that complementary skill set in a substantial rotation role. Liberty University — Kyle Rode signs with Austin | None |
| Osayi Osifo | Interior Energy Starter (1.05) | 24.1 | Low (1.0) | 7.3 | 7.5 | 0.8 | 2.2 | 37.38 | Athletic interior player who supplied Austin with physical rebounding, rim activity and defensive energy. His path from the team’s local tryout system into a larger role reflects how his value was tied more to effort, size and interior play than to designed offense. Sports Illustrated — Osayi Osifo training-camp coverage | None |
| Quinton Rose | Slashing Wing Reserve (1.0) | 20.9 | Low (1.0) | 8.0 | 3.0 | 2.1 | 1.7 | 29.60 | Long wing who operated as a secondary attacker, mixing occasional creation with defensive activity rather than serving as a primary scorer. His limited independent coverage makes the exact tactical role less certain, but his guard-forward profile and Austin rotation usage point toward a flexible perimeter reserve role. Limited contemporary independent coverage was available. | None |
| Ibrahima Diallo | Rim-Protection Specialist (1.0) | 19.4 | Low (1.0) | 5.3 | 6.2 | 0.3 | 2.5 | 28.60 | Defensive center whose clearest responsibility was protecting the paint and controlling the defensive glass. His development into the G League came after leading the Big 12 in blocks at UCF, giving Austin a legitimate shot-blocking skill to build around in its interior rotation. UCF Knights — Ibrahima Diallo draft profile | None |

Limited independent contemporary coverage was available. | None |
