The Milwaukee Bucks 2009–10 relied on a balanced attack led by Brandon Jennings, Andrew Bogut, and midseason addition John Salmons, combining perimeter scoring with interior production. Bogut anchored the defense and rebounding while providing an efficient low-post presence, Jennings directed the offense as the primary playmaker, and Salmons added another dependable scoring option. The roster featured solid rebounding, capable ball movement, and a defense-first identity, although outside shooting was not a major strength.
