Most people would take Tyrese Haliburton over Domantas Sabonis in a trade. However, what most people don’t know is that Domantas Sabonis has a father (Arvydas Sabonis) who played in the NBA against players like Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant on a Portland Trailblazers team that featured Scottie Pippen in the playoffs. From a marketing perspective, it doesn’t surprise me at all that an NBA owner would choose the son of Arvydas Sabonis instead of little known at the time Tyrese Haliburton.
