Stephon Castle is my favorite shooting guard in the 2024 NBA Draft. I think he has a good chance of being the best player in the draft class. Castle played for UConn in college and was drafted by the San Antonio Spurs, which I think was an excellent landing spot for him. The Spurs have struggled to fill the point guard position over the last few years and have 39 y/o Chris Paul this season who will need a backup to help him out. I know Castle wanted to be drafted by a team that planned on using him as a point guard. Castle should start his rookie season feeling optimistic about his learning and playing opportunities.
