Christian Wood played well for the Rockets but the Rockets didn’t want to pay him the big contract he was seeking. He then briefly joined Dallas before signing with the Lakers. Wood struggled in his first season as a Laker. I don’t think he’ll be given much of a chance in his second season with the Lakers. He may need another team. I watched Wood play every game as a Rocket and he is a good player worthy of an NBA roster. The problem with Wood is that he was obviously motivated by money and then dropped off once the big contract opportunity passed. GMs will wonder how much he loves the game. 8/30/2024
