Chet Holmgren is very tall and lean and I worry about his long-term chances of a healthy career. But he had a very good second season in the NBA and entered the league at the same time as Victor Wembanyama, the best prospect in the NBA who has a similar frame. Wemby playing well should help boost Holmgren’s value in the eyes of most general managers. I think the Thunder are genuine contenders this season and Holmgren has the chance to show the league why he is special. He’ll remain a second option to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander though. 8/30/2024
