I’ll always remember Nick Anderson as being part of the Penny Hardaway and Shaquille O’Neal-led Orlando Magic in the mid-90s. Anderson was the ideal team player who didn’t mind allowing Penny and Shaq to take most possessions while still being a shooting guard who handled quite a lot of the scoring and load himself. Thankfully for the Magic, Anderson started playing in the NBA at the end of the 80s and was already an experienced player in his prime by the time he teamed up with Penny and Shaq. Some say Michael Jordan didn’t have any competition in the 90s. Those people tend to forget about the Orlando Magic.
