I used to love Kenny Anderson when he played for the Nets because although slightly undersized he was stylish and a good passer and shooter who could also defend his man quite well. You tend to feel like you were supporting an underdog when you supported himself, Derrick Coleman, and the New Jersey Nets, but that was part of the appeal for me. Supposedly Coleman and the Nets had their issues, but the issues thankfully weren’t anything to do with Kenny Anderson. The Nets led by Kenny Anderson at point guard had the potential to be NBA champions, but their window was cut short with the passing of Drazen Petrovic just as their time together was getting started.
