The Grand Rapids Gold’s 2023–24 season featured one of the G League’s most explosive offenses and a roster that regularly showcased players on the edge of NBA opportunities. Guard Collin Gillespie built on his breakout campaign and remained one of the team’s most reliable leaders, directing the offense with a combination of efficient scoring and steady decision-making. The Gold also received major contributions from Jalen Pickett, whose assignment appearances helped accelerate his transition to the professional game, while veteran performers and Denver Nuggets affiliates provided depth throughout the season. Grand Rapids stayed in the playoff race behind its ability to generate points from multiple positions and adapt to frequent roster changes. Although the season did not culminate in a championship run, it further demonstrated the organization’s value within Denver’s player development structure and highlighted several players working toward expanded NBA roles.
