The College Park Skyhawks’ 2023-24 season centered on one of the most productive individual performances in the G League. Guard Seth Lundy, a rookie from Penn State and an Atlanta Hawks draft pick, emerged as a major offensive presence, while the team also featured significant contributions from two-way players and NBA assignments moving between Atlanta and College Park throughout the year. Unlike some previous Skyhawks teams that leaned heavily on veteran leadership, this roster was largely defined by prospects attempting to establish themselves within the Hawks’ system. The constant movement created opportunities for a wide range of players, including Kobe Bufkin during assignment appearances and several young contributors seeking larger professional roles. Although the season did not culminate in a championship run, it continued College Park’s emphasis on giving developing players meaningful minutes in a competitive environment, a role the franchise has increasingly embraced since its arrival in Georgia.

Chris Silva Interior Offensive Hub (1.1) 27.2 High (1.2) 17.2 9.2 2.8 1.7 81.58 Interior Offensive Hub who gave College Park a physical half-court outlet, combining powerful rim attacks with offensive rebounding and short-roll passing. His 15 starts in 16 games reflected how central that interior presence was. Sports Illustrated — Chris Silva player coverage —
Seth Lundy Two-Way Scoring Wing (1.1) 31.7 High (1.2) 17.9 6.1 1.6 1.7 72.07 Two-Way Scoring Wing whose value came from pairing a high-volume perimeter game with physical rebounding and defensive versatility. His shooting profile fit the 3-and-D foundation that made him a second-round prospect, while his G League assignment gave him room to carry more offense. Sports Illustrated — Penn State Achieves a Major Milestone at the NBA Draft —
Keaton Wallace Franchise Floor General (1.05) 30.0 Medium (1.1) 12.9 4.4 5.8 1.8 62.75 Franchise Floor General in College Park, Wallace organized the offense without needing excessive scoring volume. His 5.8 assists against only 2.1 turnovers point to a controlled table-setting role, while the defensive activity gave him value beyond initiating possessions. Atlanta Journal-Constitution — Things have not gone according to plan for Hawks, which is good for Keaton Wallace —
Tyson Etienne Pick-and-Roll Scoring Guard (1.05) 27.2 Medium (1.1) 11.3 2.9 3.8 1.1 44.12 Pick-and-Roll Scoring Guard who blended pull-up shooting with secondary creation rather than functioning as a pure distributor. The 3.8 assists show his playmaking responsibility, while his 4.8 three-point attempts per game kept defenses stretched. Hoops Rumors — Tyson Etienne Rumors —
Miles Norris Stretch-Four Rebounder (1.05) 27.0 Medium (1.1) 9.4 6.6 0.9 1.9 43.43 Stretch-Four Rebounder whose spacing was paired with active work on the glass and weak-side defense. The 1.5 three-point makes per game added a useful perimeter dimension for a 6-foot-10 forward, while his 14 starts showed he was trusted as a frontcourt stabilizer. Hoops Rumors — Grizzlies Cut Four Camp Invitees —
Brandon Randolph Instant-Offense Wing (1.05) 22.4 Medium (1.1) 10.8 3.4 1.4 1.0 38.35 Instant-Offense Wing who attacked efficiently inside the arc and could generate points without needing a large playmaking burden. His 55.8% two-point shooting shows where much of that scoring pressure came from, while his limited three-point success made him more of a slashing and midrange threat. CBS Sports — Hawks’ Jarkel Joiner: Inks Exhibit 10 deal —
Bruno Fernando NBA Assignment Interior Presence (1.0) 21.0 Low (1.0) 8.0 5.0 2.0 3.0 36.00 NBA Assignment Interior Presence in an unusually tiny sample, Fernando immediately supplied size around the rim, with two blocks and five rebounds in 21 minutes. His 3.9 three-point attempts per game were notable for a center-sized rotation piece, giving the second unit a different offensive look. The Sporting News — Hawks roster coverage —
Emmitt Matthews Jr. Energy Wing Reserve (1.0) 14.6 Low (1.0) 4.7 3.0 0.6 0.8 18.20 Energy Wing Reserve who made his presence felt more through activity than designed offense. He shot 50% from the field and supplied useful rebounding from the wing, making him a sensible low-usage complementary piece. The NBA G League — Emmitt Matthews Jr. player profile —
David Singleton Spot-Up Guard Specialist (1.0) 13.9 Low (1.0) 3.1 1.3 0.4 0.8 11.20 Spot-Up Guard Specialist whose main offensive job was to provide perimeter spacing without demanding the ball.
