This Miami Heat roster shows the depth chart heading into the playoffs:
STARTER | 2ND | 3RD | 4TH | 5TH |
---|---|---|---|---|
Terry Rozier | Tyler Herro | Delon Wright | Patty Mills | Alondes Williams |
Tyler Herro | Duncan Robinson | Patty Mills | Terry Rozier | Jaime Jaquez Jr. |
Jimmy Butler | Jaime Jaquez Jr. | Haywood Highsmith | Duncan Robinson | Caleb Martin |
Nikola Jovic | Caleb Martin | Haywood Highsmith | Jaime Jaquez Jr. | Kevin Love |
Bam Adebayo | Kevin Love | Thomas Bryant | Orlando Robinson DD | Nikola Jovic |
Notes: In February 2024, the Heat used Jaime Jaquez Jr. at power forward. Since March, he was replaced by Nikola Jovic. Jovic is preferable due to his floor spacing ability. In January 2024, Terry Rozier was traded to the Heat. Rozier is the ideal point guard for the Heat: his salary fits the team and his playing ability is better than you would expect for a 4th-6th option on offense. By 2025, Rozier may be as low as the 7th option on offense (behind Butler, Herro, Adebayo, Robinson, Jaquez Jr. and Jovic), meaning the Heat will be an even stronger title contender than this year if healthy.
